How do I look at a student's grades in each teacher's classes?
Query the student you want on the black box screen. Click the blue Navigate arrow. Scroll down to Academic Progress (TA). You can now scroll through the student's classes and see the TAM for each teacher. This method is what you will use to check on on the progress of an individual student.
If you have the role Classroom Teacher, you will be able to navigate to Teacher Assistant. You can choose the teacher and see each of the teacher's classes. This method is good for following up on teacher grading practices.
How do I find student report card grades?
Of course, one way is simply to print the report card. Query the student you want. Click the Print button at the bottom of the black box screen. Uncheck all reports except Report Card. Click the printer icon. Check the report periods you want to print. Click the printer icon.
Or you can click on the Courses button, then click the button with Navigate written on it. Click on All Marks or Details to see the grades. Try them both to see which one you like.
To see a whole class of report card grades, click on the Blackboard icon at the top of the black box screen. Make sure you have chosen the correct reporting period from the drop-down, then query for the teacher to see the entire class and the grades.
